每逢传统节日来临， 川沙城隍庙 都要举办各种类型的 公益 、 慈善 和 传统文化 活动，通过各种喜闻乐见的方式，使社区居民、社会大众认识和参与 中国历史文化传承实践 ，从而达到 净化身心、教育自我、提升道德意识 。
