坐标川沙~这座低调了百年的江南四合院，假日里不去走走？

陶家宅，始建于1908年，位于浦东新区川沙王桥路999号，是清末儒商陶长青的故宅，占地面积4040余平方米，其中建筑面积2312平方米，解放后曾先后被川沙毛巾三厂、跃进中学、黎申五金塑料制品厂、星光日用化学品厂等作为厂址或校址。古宅布局为轴线式四进院落，呈砖木结构，白墙黑瓦之中满满的江南韵味。

未入宅院前，分别列于庭院南侧的3扇中西合璧的屏门独具特色。

宅院进门两侧，两棵红花檵木和广玉兰，如今被浦东新区列为古树名木加以保护，陪伴着古宅度过百年春秋。

走进院门，门头上书“光前裕后”四字，能看出当年宅院主人对于后人的期望，“光前裕后”出自宋·王应麟的《三字经》：“杨名声，显父母，光于前，裕于后。”悬此牌匾，意在寄希望历代子孙事业有成，不断光大祖宗基业，同时遗泽后代，在中原及江南地区儒商古宅中较为多见。

陶家宅有别于北方四合院的富丽堂皇，布局典雅、构造细腻的江南风格，在院落内层层展开，由屋顶、墙身，台基三部分组合而成的宅院，其造型达到了功能、结构、艺术的完美。

屏风墙和正冷脊曲线生动，微微向上反曲的屋檐，屋顶转角处的起翘，结合白墙黑瓦，向来客传递着江南故宅的稳定、舒展、飘逸气势。

陶家宅内随处可见的木雕、砖雕、石雕、门雕、窗雕等雕刻件可谓精工细作。正脊上雕刻生动的出行图、门窗格扇上的人马、花草，或上朝或郊游，故事题材丰富，古时场景仿佛历历在目。

翼角上砖雕的祥云图案精细别致，表达了古宅吉祥之意，给人以轻巧活泼的印象。

陶家宅在基础建筑构造和布置上充满了海派建筑兼收并蓄的建筑风格，同时，还吸纳了许多外来优秀建筑文化，而在庭院之外，绿荫小道、平摊草地，以及西侧的方正水池，在绿植烘托及水面倒影之下，陶家宅这所百年古宅似乎又年轻了起来。
